Meal type:

snack, dessert

Diet type:

gluten-free, plant-based

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut oil

  • 3/4 cup carob powder

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (opt.)

  • 1 cup dates and/or coconut flakes

  • 1 tbsp sunflowerseeds or paste

  • pinch of salt

  • honey/agave to taste

Instructions

Melt the coconut oil. Then place the coconut oil and the rest of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Poor the mixture in ice cube trays and place in the freezer until hardened, about 30 minutes. When hardened take them out from the trays and keep the cubes in the fridge in a container.

And of course you can experiment with the ingredients. You might want to add some raisins instead of dates. Or add a few nuts after blending the ingredients. A lot is possible, just try it out and enjoy!

That's how you make the easy vegan carob cube recipe!
